Docker is a set of platform as a service products that use OS-level virtualization to deliver software in packages called containers. Containers are isolated from one another and bundle their own software, libraries and configuration files; they can communicate with each other through well-defined channels.

The Apache HTTP Server Project is an effort to develop and maintain an open-source HTTP server for modern operating systems including UNIX and Windows. The goal of this project is to provide a secure, efficient and extensible server that provides HTTP services in sync with the current HTTP standards.

So one day as we do I was attending a RH294 lecture at LinuxWorld Informatics Pvt. Ltd. by none other than the amazing world record holder Mr. Vimal Daga Sir and he started to remind us of the expert lecture that we had the prior day and said that in that lecture someone amongst us learners asked for a demonstration lecture which showed us how Ansible is being used in the real world industries, so as one does I nodded along, so he goes to announce along the lines of we at Linux world have been trying our best to make it happen, for which I due to my prior experience with the rest of the world thought that he must be apologizing for not being able to do so. With the rapid digital transformation, the IT complexity is snowballing over time making tasks even more intricate. Every business is a digital business. So, with the growing business demands, the IT firms are struggling hard to develop, deploy, and maintain the sprawling systems. Technology is your innovation engine, and delivering your applications faster helps you win. Historically, that required a lot of manual effort and complicated coordination.

In the need of an hour, Ansible came to the aid of entire IT and DevOps team in terms of scaling automation, managing complex deployments and enhancing productivity.

Ansible is a revolutionary yet simple IT automation engine that automates cloud provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, etc. It is designed for multi-tier deployments, Ansible models your IT infrastructure by describing how all of your systems inter-relate, rather than just managing one system at a time. It uses no agents and no additional custom security infrastructure, so it’s easy to deploy and most of all, it uses a very simple language (YAML, as Ansible Playbooks) that allow you to describe your automation jobs in a way that approaches plain English. …

Hadoop is an open-source software framework for storing data and running applications on clusters of commodity hardware. It provides massive storage for any kind of data, enormous processing power and the ability to handle virtually limitless concurrent tasks or jobs.

Hadoop’s data handling capacity comes from its own file system known as HDFS (Hadoop distributed File System), that allows you to store data of various formats across a cluster. In HDFS, Namenode is the master node and Datanodes are the slaves. Namenode contains the metadata about the data stored in Data nodes, such as which data block is stored in which data node, where are the replications of the data block kept etc. …

Lets first see what does it mean to have high availability in terms of Information Technology; High availability is a characteristic of a system which aims to ensure an agreed level of operational performance, usually uptime, for a higher than normal period. Modernization in technology has resulted in an increased reliance on these systems. Such systems typically have redundant hardware and software that makes the system available despite failures. Well-designed high availability systems avoid having single points-of-failure. Any hardware or software component that can fail has a redundant component of the same type.

Amazon Web Services also puts such high availability into its provided services, for…

Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be defined as the field of study of Intelligent Agents, or a system’s ability to correctly interpret external data, to learn from such data, and to use those learnings to achieve specific goals and tasks through flexible adaptation, or something that enables machines to learn, think, execute and problem solve like a human being or more colloquially, the term “artificial intelligence” is often used to describe machines (or computers) that mimic cognitive functions that humans associate with the human mind, such as learning and problem solving. A quip in Tesler’s Theorem says “AI is whatever hasn’t been done yet”. Artificial intelligence was founded as an academic discipline in 1955. …

AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a comprehensive, evolving cloud computing platform provided by Amazon. Amazon Web Services offers reliable, scalable, and inexpensive cloud computing services. These cloud computing web services provide a variety of basic abstract technical infrastructure and distributed computing building blocks and tools. One of these services is Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), which allows users to have at their disposal a virtual cluster of computers, available all the time, through the Internet.

command-line interface (CLI) processes command to a computer program in the form of lines of text. Operating systems implement a command-line interface in a shell for interactive access to operating system functions or services. Programs with command-line interfaces are generally easier to automate via scripting. Today many programs uses graphical interface for user interaction and ease of use. …
